After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Althoff Catholic, Marquette Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins, sneaking past 46-44. The win continues a trend for the Explorers in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won nine in a row.

Father McGivney Catholic's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Owen Kolesa, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points, and Chase Jansen, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
