After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame Academy, Holy Cross was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Cooper Jaguars 3-2. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Holy Cross was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Paige Arlinghaus paced Holy Cross' offense, picking up 13 kills. Arlinghaus got some help from Kensington Adams and her 32 assists. Avery Sturgeon controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Holy Cross moved to 12-10 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Cooper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Holy Cross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Elizabethtown on the 3rd. As for Cooper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lexington Catholic on the 3rd.
