Softball Recap: Dawson Comes Up Short

Dawson was the 10-8 winner over Manvel when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dawson's loss dropped their record down to 11-14-1. As for Manvel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

Dawson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manvel, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Dobie at 6:30 p.m. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Mavericks surely won't give up without a fight.
