Eastern View won the last time they faced Spotsylvania and things went their way on Monday too. The Cyclones put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cyclones as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

While Eastern View won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.

Olivia Denham paced Eastern View's offense, picking up eight kills. Denham got some help from Lauren Denham and her ten assists. Olivia also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Samantha Husch, each putting up three.

Eastern View's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Spotsylvania, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
