Quezada is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
Meanwhile, Walsenburg's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 56-11 loss at the hands of Fowler. While losing is never fun, Walsenburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Fowler is ranked 124th).
Sierra Grande's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Walsenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Everything came up roses for Sierra Grande against Walsenburg when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-18 victory. With Sierra Grande ahead 39-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
