The Lamar Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 69-53 bruising from Neosho. Lamar has struggled against Neosho recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Neosho got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Collier Hendricks out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hendricks pulled down eight or more rebounds. Kanten Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Lamar now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Neosho, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Lamar will head out on the road to take on McDonald County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neosho, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nixa at 6:00 p.m. Nixa knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Neosho likes a good challenge.
