Basketball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Lions vs. Hilton Head Island Seahawks

The St. Andrew's Lions will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Hilton Head Island Seahawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Andrew's faced off against Bradwell Institute last Friday. The Lions received a blow as they fell 68-50 to the Tigers. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Hilton Head Island took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past Benedictine 58-36.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Andrew's fell to 2-1. As for Hilton Head Island, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.

St. Andrew's came out on top in a nail-biter against Hilton Head Island when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 61-58. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Seahawks' Kyrice Bowman, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 20 points. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for the Lions to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
