Volleyball Recap: Cicero Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Cicero Prep Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Mountain Wolves.

Nicole Damian paced Cicero Prep Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Damian really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Layla Hrabe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Miranda McDonald was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Cicero Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Desert Mountain, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Cicero Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Maricopa on the 27th.
