Pacific scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Crystal City Hornets 45-40. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 38-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Crystal City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maya Hankins out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, Hankins is now averaging an impressive 8.6 rebounds per game. Addison Bova was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points.

Pacific's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Crystal City, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
