Clearwater kept a clean sheet against Largo on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Largo Packers. Give the Tornadoes' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Juventino Nopal-Pena, who's now up to five this season.

Clearwater's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matches. As for Largo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearwater will take on Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Largo, they will face off against Calvary Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Largo surely won't give up without a fight.
