After flying high against Addison on Thursday, Hanover-Horton came back down to earth. The Comets lost 11-4 to the Whiteford Bobcats on Saturday. The Comets' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lukas NaDell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Hanover-Horton's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Whiteford, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Hanover-Horton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Onsted on the 19th. As for Whiteford, they will challenge Morenci at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
