Softball Recap: Muleshoe's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Muleshoe came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Roosevelt Eagles get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mules, who have now won 11 games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Adalie Agundis made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Agundis was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Melanie Martens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Addilene Blanco, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Muleshoe's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Muleshoe and Roosevelt will both be playing Littlefield the next time they take the field. Muleshoe will head out to face Littlefield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Roosevelt will host them at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th.
