Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Fe). They blew past the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers 19-4 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Santa Fe and bumps their season record up to 6-10. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-17 Orrick and 6-15 Wellington-Napoleon. As for Wellington-Napoleon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Santa Fe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Orrick on the 1st. As for Wellington-Napoleon, they will square off against Lone Jack at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
