Basketball Recap: Cale Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Clinton-Massie over Wilmington

Clinton-Massie was the 46-39 winner over Wilmington when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Clinton-Massie Falcons took a 43-28 bruising from the Wilmington Hurricane on Friday. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clinton-Massie's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cale Wilson, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen Trampler, who posted eight points.

Clinton-Massie now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Wilmington, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Clinton-Massie will take on Batavia in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton-Massie is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Wilmington and Goshen will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
