Soccer Game Preview: Guymon vs. El Reno

The Guymon Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the El Reno Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Guymon will be strutting in after a win while El Reno will be coming in after a defeat.

Guymon was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Classen SAS 1-0.

Meanwhile, El Reno fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Classen SAS on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1. El Reno have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

El Reno now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Guymon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Guymon couldn't quite get it done against El Reno in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
