Basketball Game Preview: Harlem Bulldogs vs. Cross Creek Razorbacks

Harlem is 0-10 against Cross Creek since December of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Harlem Bulldogs will face off against the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 6:00 p.m. Harlem will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Harlem will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Hephzibah, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Harlem walked away with a 47-37 victory over Hephzibah on Friday.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Cross Creek on Saturday. They put the hurt on West Laurens with a sharp 52-29 win. The Razorbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Cross Creek's win came from a few key players Harlem will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jerniyah Yomans, who posted 12 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Clark, who put up 11 points.

Cross Creek's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Harlem, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Harlem took a serious blow against Cross Creek when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 72-16. Can Harlem avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
