Volleyball Game Preview: Waukegan Bulldogs vs. Warren Township Blue Devils

The Waukegan Bulldogs will head out to take on the Warren Township Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waukegan is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Waukegan is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since May 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Saint Viator, sneaking past 2-1.

Waukegan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Warren Township was able to grind out a solid win over Carmel on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Warren Township not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Carmel to exactly 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

Waukegan's record is now 9-2. As for Warren Township, their record now sits at 9-5.

Waukegan came out on top in a nail-biter against Warren Township in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
