Names: Taylor Alie and Connor Strahm
School: Sheldon (Eugene)
Alie and Strahm led Sheldon to a 62-27 victory over Southridge in the quarterfinals. Alie threw for five touchdowns on 24 completions in 30 attempts for 345 yards. He also rushed for 108 yards on 13 carries, scoring one touchdown. On the season, Alie has thrown for more than 2,700 yards with 32 touchdowns. Strahm had 13 receptions for 153 yards with three touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown on six carries for 45 yards. Strahm has 79 receptions on the season, scoring 13 touchdowns. Sheldon moves on to play Jesuit this week in a state 6A semifinal game.

Names: Kamerun Smith and Josh Harper
School: Marist (Eugene)
Smith and Harper led Marist to a 28-16 victory over the defending state champion, Mountain View. Smith threw for 259 yards on 17 completions in 32 attempts. He passed for two touchdowns, running for one. Harper had eight receptions for 114 yards. Smith has passed for 32 TDs on the season with only three interceptions. Marist moves on to the semifinals playing Redmond.

Names: Trampis Waite and Joseph Delgado
School: Ontario
Waite and Delgado led Ontario to a first round state playoff victory over North Valley, 39-34. Waite threw for 333 yards on 25 completions in 31 attempts with six touchdowns. Delgado had 10 receptions for 194 yards scoring three touchdowns. Ontario moves on in the state playoffs to play LaSalle Prep in the quarterfinals.

Name: Kraig Pruett
School: Waldport
A national record is certainly reason to take notice. Pruett, a junior, hauled in a national-record 456 (maybe 455) yards on 18 catches (including four touchdowns) in a big 48-0 win over Culver. Pruett is the state's leading receiver and as of Monday he was No. 6 in the nation in terms of receiving yardage. The Irish finished their season at 5-5.

Names: Daniel Harper and Nathan Jones
School: Scio
Harper and Jones led Scio to a 45-12 victory over Blanchet Catholic, improving the Loggers' league record to 7-0. Harper rushed for 174 yards on 14 carries and he caught two passes for 72 yards, scoring two touchdowns on the night. Jones rushed 10 times for 120 yards, scoring three touchdowns. Both Harper and Jones had 10 tackles, respectively. Harper has rushed for 1,602 yards and Jones has racked up 1,414 yards on the season.

Name: Mickey Schaefer and Cristian Morris
School: Sherwood
Schaefer and Morris led Sherwood to an 84-42 victory over Sandy, improving the Bowmen’s record to 8-0 for the season. Schaefer rushed for 221 yards on seven carries and teammate Morris gained 217 yards on seven rushing attempts. Both Schaefer and Morris each scored three touchdowns. Sherwood rushed for 756 yards on the night.

Name: Taylor Loss and Paul Revis
School: Scappoose
Loss and Revis led Scappoose to a 41-13 victory over Tillamook, improving their season record to 6-1. Loss completed 18 passes for 299 yards with four touchdowns and he also rushed for a score. Revis caught 14 of those passes for 271 yards and the four touchdowns. He also threw a touchdown pass on the evening. Loss has completed more than 67 percent of his passes on the season with 27 touchdowns. Revis has 65 receptions on the season, averaging nearly 20 yards per reception with 19 scores.

Name: Jake Lacoste
School: West Albany (Albany)
Lacoste led his Bulldog team to 75-18 victory over crosstown rival South Albany by rushing for 307 yards in 15 attempts, averaging more than 20 yards per rushing attempt. He scored six touchdowns on his 15 carries. This was Lacoste’s fourth game this season where he rushed for more than 300 yards. He has gained 1,708 yards, scoring 25 touchdowns leading West Albany to a 5-1 record on the season.

Sherrell led the Cavaliers to a 45-21 Three Rivers League victory over Lakeridge last Friday. On 40 rushing attempts, he gained 284 yards, scoring five touchdowns. Sherrell is averaging 177.8 yards per game in Clackamas’ five games this season.

School: Cottage Grove
In
Cottage Grove’s 53-21 victory over Ridgeview, Hitner passed for 445 yards, completing 28 passes in 48 attempts and connecting on four passing touchdowns. He also scored two touchdowns on the ground. Rauda was his favorite receiver, catching 10 passes for 190 yards and one
touchdown. He also rushed for 57 yards on three attempts, scoring one
touchdown.The win moved Cottage Grove to 3-1.

Name: Thomas Tyner
School: Aloha (Beaverton, Ore.)
On the night of his 18th birthday, Tyner shattered Oregon state records for individual game rushing yards and touchdowns. In leading Aloha to an 84-63 victory over Lakeridge, Tyner gained an amazing 643 yards in 38 attempts, scoring 10 touchdowns. In three games this season, he has gained 1,277 yards rushing (15.3 yards per carry) and has scored 17 rushing touchdowns in leading Aloha to a 3-0 record. See video of his 10 touchdowns.

Reid helped lead the Lancers to an opening season 56-21 victory over South Eugene last Friday. He rushed for 260 yards on 19 carries with six rushing touchdowns and also scored on a 91-yard kickoff return.
Nov. 28, 2011 Name: JJ Fisher School: La Salle (Milwaukie)Fisher led La Salle to 47-29 victory over Elmira in the state semifinals as he rushed for 247 yards on 24 attempts, scoring four touchdowns. Fisher has rushed for 2,155 yards on the season, scoring 30 touchdowns. La Salle improved its record to 13-0 on the season and will play Siuslaw for the state championship this Saturday.
Nov. 21, 2011 Name: Kamerun Smith School: Marist (Eugene) Smith helped lead the Spartans to this week's state 5A semifinals games with a 49-14 victory over Wilsonville last Friday. He passed for 344 yards on 18 completions in 22 attempts with five passing touchdowns. On the season, Smith has passed for 44 touchdowns, with a 64 percent completion rate for 2,561 yards as Marist is a perfect 11-0.
Nov. 15, 2011 Name: Jack Singler School: South Medford Singler helped lead the Panthers to a 63-21 victory over Centennial in the first round of the state playoffs. He passed for 247 yards on 15 completions in 21 attempts with four passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. This season, Singler has passed for 33 touchdowns, with a 69 percent completion rate for 2,303 yards.

Oct. 31, 2011 Name: Will TottenSchool: McKenzie (Finn Rock) Totten passed for 454 yards on 19 completions in 28 attempts with five passing touchdowns. He also rushed for 138 yards in 12 attempts with a rushing touchdown. His 592 yards in total offense led the Eagles to a 40-36 victory over Mohawk, improving their season record to 7-1. This season, Totten has passed for 41 touchdowns, averaging 334 passing yards per game with a 66 percent completion rate.
Oct. 24, 2011 Name: Jake LacosteSchool: West Albany Lacoste broke the state record for rushing yards in a single game. He gained 508 yards on 39 carries, scoring five touchdowns as West Albany improved its record to 6-2, defeating Silverton, 35-21.
Oct. 17, 2011 Name: Tanner Shipley School: Wilsonville
Shipley led Wilsonville to a 42-32 victory over St. Helens as he rushed for 269 yards on 18 carries, scoring four touchdowns. On defense, he also had three tackles and three pass break-ups as a defensive back.
Oct. 10, 2011 Name: Bobby Adams School: Hermiston Adams rushed for 215 yards on 30 carries, scoring five touchdowns in Hermiston’s 56-10 win over The Dalles-Wahtonka. He also caught one pass for 68 yards. He has rushed for more than 200 yards in each of his last four games and has gained 1,120 yards on the season while leading Hermiston to a 4-2 season record.
Oct. 3, 2011Name: William Underwood School: Waldport
Underwood rushed for 324 yards in 17 attempts, scoring four touchdowns in Waldport's 60-19 victory over Myrtle Point. This is Underwood's second-straight week of rushing for more than 300 yards as he gained 347 yards the previous week against Warrrenton.
Sept. 26, 2011Name: Tommy Knecht School: Lakeridge (Lake Oswego) Knecht passed for 423 yards on 31 completions in 43 attempts with three passing touchdowns. He also rushed for 42 yards in 12 attempts. His 465 yards in total offense led the Pacers to a 47-40 victory over defending state champion Aloha.
Sept. 20, 2011Name: Oshay Dunmore School: NewportDunmore rushed for 272 yards in 17 rushing attempts, scoring four touchdowns. He also threw for 116 yards on five completions in eight attempts with a passing touchdown. His 388 yards in total offense and five touchdowns helped lead the Cubs to a 46-36 victory over Estacada.
Sept. 12, 2011 Name: Chad Olson School: Thurston (Springfield) Olson threw for 456 yards on 26 completions in 38 attempts with four passing touchdowns. He also rushed for three touchdowns, scoring the last touchdown with 18 seconds remaining in the game as the Colts defeated South Salem, 63-59.
Sept. 6, 2011Name: Jordan VisarragaSchool: Willamette (Eugene) In a 67-38 win over South Albany, Visarraga rushed for 270 yards and scored four touchdowns.
