Football Recap: Eaglecrest Comes Up Short

After soaring to 50 points the game before, Eaglecrest was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 25-13 to the Fort Collins Lambkins. The Raptors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lambkins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Jack McKeon was a one-man wrecking crew For Fort Collins. as he rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns. McKeon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season. Justin Cranford was in the mix too, providing Fort Collins with two scores.

Eaglecrest's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fort Collins, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Eaglecrest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 27-0 victory against Chatfield on the 11th. As for Fort Collins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-7 win against Poudre on the 12th.
