Softball Recap: Chiawana Takes a Loss

Chiawana and Mead squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Chiawana had to settle for second. They fell 6-3 to the Panthers. The Riverhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lexi North was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Reid, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Chiawana's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Mead, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Chiawana nor Mead have any future games scheduled.
