Volleyball Recap: Riverton Wolverines vs. Natrona County Mustangs
Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Natrona County Mustangs. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October.
Riverton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.
Despite the loss, Riverton still got an impressive performance from Addison Alley, who had 16 digs. Alley has been hot , having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.
Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Natrona County, they moved to 10-14 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
As of now, neither Riverton nor Natrona County have any future games scheduled.
