Lapwai strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 75-15 victory over the Potlatch Loggers. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-9.

Lapwai got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madden Bisbee out in front who went 8-for-14 on her way to 19 points. Skylin Picard was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 17 points in addition to eight assists and three steals.

Lapwai smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Lapwai's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Potlatch, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Lapwai will be playing at home against Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies' defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Potlatch, they will head out to face off against Troy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Loggers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
