Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Deerfield). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Waterloo Pirates 94-21. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 41 points or more this season.

The win (which was Deerfield's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Waterloo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Deerfield will take on Williams Bay in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Waterloo and Lodi will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
