Volleyball Game Preview: Lynn Classical Rams vs. Revere Patriots

Lynn Classical hasn't had much luck against Revere recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will look to defend their home court against the Patriots at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chelsea came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Lynn Classical, but Long Pham wouldn't allow it. The Rams walked away with a 3-1 win over the Red Devils on Wednesday thanks in part to Pham, who had 18 digs and three aces. He has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times he's played.

Lynn Classical was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 17-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Revere had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lancers as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Revere's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lawrence to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Revere's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Lynn Classical, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Lynn Classical suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Revere when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
