While Christian Life didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Westlake Christian Academy 25-13 in the first set.
Christian Life actually scored more points across those three sets (55-53), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-20, 15-10.
Durand's defeat dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Christian Life, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1.
