Basketball Game Preview: Niagara Badgers vs. Oneida Nation Thunderhawks

The Niagara Badgers will challenge the Oneida Nation Thunderhawks at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Niagara's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Niagara will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Crivitz, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Niagara managed a 58-53 victory over Crivitz on Monday.

Meanwhile, Oneida Nation had to suffer through a 66-33 loss at the hands of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Niagara's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Oneida Nation, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Niagara skirted past Oneida Nation 68-66 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Niagara repeat their success, or does Oneida Nation have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
