Softball Recap: Oyster River Takes Down Campbell in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Oyster River had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Campbell 13-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 15 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Oyster River's eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Campbell, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

Looking ahead, Oyster River will square off against Kingswood on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. Campbell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
