Baseball Recap: Upper Perkiomen Wins Going Away Against Pottsgrove

After losing to Pottsgrove the last time they met, Upper Perkiomen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 15-3 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Grayson Sabo was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jordin Dice was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Upper Perkiomen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pottsgrove only posted an OBP of .391.

The victory made it two in a row for Upper Perkiomen and bumps their season record up to 10-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Pottsgrove, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
