Softball Recap: Santiago Find Success

On Tuesday, the Santiago Sharks were able to grind out a solid victory over the Orange Vista Coyotes, taking the game 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Santiago's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Orange Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santiago will venture away from home to challenge Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orange Vista, they are taking a road trip to take on Arlington at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Orange Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
