Softball Recap: Weston Ranch Cougars vs. Delhi Hawks
Weston Ranch barely beat Delhi the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Weston Ranch Cougars never let the Delhi Hawks get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Cougars have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Weston Ranch got a great performance from Treshia Garcia as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Garcia has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Cianna Avamolifua was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Gigi Gheith, who went 2-for-3 with six RBI, one run, and one double.
