Archmere Academy extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-2. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over the Tatnall Hornets. The Auks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Archmere Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Donovan led the charge by rushing for 117 yards and one score on only eight carries. Another passer making a difference was Johnny Orsini, who threw for 105 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Archmere Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

As for Tatnall, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Tatnall still got an impressive performance from Billy Lang, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 81 yards.
