Baseball Recap: Paradise Honors Falls Short of St. Mary's in the Playoffs

Paradise Honors and St. Mary squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Paradise Honors had to settle for second. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Jack Moore made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Paradise Honors' loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for St. Mary's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-11.

Paradise Honors does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's, they will head out to take on Salpointe Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
