Soccer Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

Pigeon Forge came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carter Green Hornets, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Pigeon Forge were already down 5-1.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Carter, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pigeon Forge will face off against Sevier County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fulton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
