South Shelby waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Higbee Tigers 64-39. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Callie Mcwilliams, who went 8-for-12 on her way to 19 points and eight assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Belle Roush, who posted nine points and five steals.

South Shelby smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 22 consecutive contests.

South Shelby pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Higbee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.

South Shelby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-41 loss against Centralia on the 22nd. Higbee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
