Volleyball Game Preview: Royal Highlanders vs. Valencia Vikings

The Royal Highlanders will venture away from home to square off against the Valencia Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Royal is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against University as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Valencia beat St. Bonaventure 3-1 on Wednesday.

Valencia was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 25-23.

Royal's record is now 15-10. As for Valencia, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Royal came up short against Valencia when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Highlanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
