It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Malad had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the North Fremont Huskies with a sharp 17-7 win. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 25 contests by six runs or more this season.

Malad got a massive performance out of Brylee Oglesbee, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sarah Toone, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Malad hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matchups.

Malad has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season.
