Basketball Recap: Lac qui Parle Valley Comes Up Short

Lac qui Parle Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the Montevideo Thunderhawks didn't end well, with the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles falling 55-40. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 39-38 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lac qui Parle Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Montevideo, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-16.

Lac qui Parle Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montevideo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-49 loss against West Central Area on the 18th.
