Soccer Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Pittsburg Pirates, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Pirates are ranked 264th).

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pittsburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Chapel Hill will welcome Liberty-Eylau at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pittsburg, they will head out to take on Sulphur Springs at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
