Volleyball Game Preview: Sherman Oaks CES Knights vs. North Hollywood Huskies

The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will take on the North Hollywood Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Sherman Oaks CES is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Sherman Oaks CES not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 6th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Northridge Academy 3-0.

Sherman Oaks CES never let Northridge Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Meanwhile, North Hollywood suffered their biggest defeat since October 1st on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Grant. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-14.

Sherman Oaks CES' victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for North Hollywood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Sherman Oaks CES might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from North Hollywood in their previous matchup back in August of 2022. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
