Softball Game Preview: Asbury Rams vs. Fyffe Red Devils

Asbury hasn't had much luck against Fyffe recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rams will square off against the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Asbury has given up an average of 15.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Asbury is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Sylvania, falling 26-5.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fyffe's offense. They fell just short of Geraldine by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly two runs.

Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Fyffe, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Asbury couldn't quite get it done against Fyffe in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 7-2. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
