Volleyball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence lost against Shady Spring back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shady Spring, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence will host James Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shady Spring, they will be playing in front of their home fans against George Washington at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
