Football Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lynnfield, Hamilton-Wenham Regional was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Chelsea Red Devils by a score of 13-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Generals as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Caden Schrock was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 83 yards and two scores.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Chelsea, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Hamilton-Wenham Regional and Ipswich will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. The Generals are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Chelsea, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Boston at 9:30 a.m. on the 27th. The Red Devils will be up against the Jets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
