Volleyball Recap: Perry County Central Comes Up Short

Perry County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Buckhorn Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Monday.

Perry County Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Buckhorn, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Perry County Central will face off against rival Letcher County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Buckhorn is set to challenge their familiar foe Southwestern at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
