If Valley View was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Heritage on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hemet Bulldogs on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Hemet, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.
