Basketball Recap: Riley County Falcons vs. Silver Lake Eagles
Riley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 65-53 to the Silver Lake Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Eagles are ranked 49th).

Despite the loss, Riley County had strong showings from Trey Webber, who to rack up 17 points and five assists, and Eli Harmison, who en route to 12 points. Harmison has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Davis Carson was another key player, putting up four points.
Riley County's record now sits at 5-15. As for Silver Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
