Baseball Recap: Oak Park Takes a Loss

Oak Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Hill Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 two weeks ago.

Oak Park's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Park Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Oak Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 loss against Park Hill South on the 13th. As for Park Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-13 defeat against Raymore-Peculiar on the 13th.
