Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Demons vs. Capital Jaguars
Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Capital Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Saturday.
Gabe Barker and Logan Gallegos did some serious damage despite the final result: Barker went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI, while Gallegos scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That double was Barker's first of the season. Austin Tokoroyama was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Capital, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
