It was a good run, but Montebello unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Roosevelt scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18.

Montebello's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Roosevelt, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Montebello has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Maranatha on the 23rd. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Leuzinger on the 23rd.
