Basketball Recap: Burbank Titans vs. Nevada Union Miners
Burbank had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 48-37 win over the Nevada Union Miners on Wednesday. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Miners, too.

Burbank had a senior duo take command as Michael Butcher dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds and Cedric Sydnor dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. Sydnor is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Korshawn Sanders-Thomas was another key player, putting up nine points.
Burbank has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. Nevada Union's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-13.
Looking ahead, Burbank will face off against Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roseville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Burbank likes a good challenge. Nevada Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
