Baseball Recap: Washington Blue Lions vs. Logan Elm Braves
Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Logan Elm Braves. Blue Lions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Braves since on Monday.
Cooper Robertson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Will Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Logan Elm, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-17.
